Choose a saree if…

You want a timeless, elegant look. Silk sarees like Banarasi and Kanjivaram are perfect for wedding ceremonies. If draping worries you, a ready-to-wear saree gives you the same look in two minutes.

Choose a lehenga if…

You want to feel festive and glamorous, especially for sangeet or a reception. A lehenga has a flared skirt, a blouse and a dupatta, and looks beautiful in photos.

Choose a suit if…

Comfort is your priority, or you have a long day ahead. Suits come in many styles: straight kurtis with pants, A-line kurtis, palazzo sets and sharara sets. Heavily embroidered suits are dressy enough for weddings, while simpler ones are perfect for pujas and family gatherings. Semi-stitched suits can be tailored to your exact size.

Still unsure?

Think about three things: how long the event is, whether there will be dancing, and how dressy the other guests will be. When in doubt, a ready-to-wear saree or an embroidered suit works for almost any occasion.
